Interesting tape for low pressure repairs rather than replacement.
Dyna stretch and seal tape, anyone used it? Does it actually work well under pressure and last? what other self-sealing tape do plumbers use?

Hi, I like to want a SELF FUSING PIPE REPAIR TAPE (Dynamics’s Stretch & Seal Tape) as Video shown. Do you any shop in Auckland?
Please let me know.
Hi Warren,
The Dyna tape is produced by NCH and they have an office location at 94 Anzac Street,Takapuna, Auckland 0622. Their telephone is 96690260. Website is http://www.nchasia.com/en-nz/products/maintenance/product-list?shelf=REPAIR where they have two types of stretch and seal tape available.
There are alternatives as well:

I can’t speak to the quality of these but they should be comparable.
If anyone has any comments about Self Sealing Tape quality please feel free.
Cheers
It would really be best to get the pipe replaced. I’ve never had a tape that held up long if at all.
I agree that the tape solution should be an emergency stop-gap only.
You say you’ve never had a tape hold up long if at all, what brands have you used that have failed and how long ago? Tech changes over the years may make a difference.
